Personality: Quiet and thoughtful, Nacht comes off as being aloof and cold upon first impression. However, he is quiet and thoughtful and always ready to listen to his clients. But when he is having fun or enjoying a particularly tasty emotion, he does act a little bizarre and sadistic.

History: For the first hundred years of his life, Nacht traveled and lived with his herd in central Europe, terrorizing and feasting on the fear of mortals. What changed this perspective was when he stumbled upon a mortal female weeping over the grave of her lost love. Tasting her grief, he became curious about other mortal emotions and so separated from all that he had known to traverse among the mortals and discover more to those creatures he had not considered as anything else but food.

Over the next two centuries, he became acquainted with mortals from nearly all walks of life, save for royalty and aristrocrats. The people he managed to befriend began to seek him out for counsel, bringing to him their everyday troubles. This continued until he began to research the budding field of psychology, whereupon he would frequently seek employment at asylums or with the top names in the field.

Toward the latter half of the 20th century, however, was when Nacht sought to utilize his accumulation of knowledge in order to officially assist the mortals he had come to care for. After a few decades of hopping from practice to practice, he was recruited for a job at an island resort where the inhabitants weren't as relaxed as one would think.

Other: He has a sweet tooth and candy is really the only mortal food he will consume aside from sodas. He became addicted to sodas when they were first introduced and he has only since came to love them even more.
